Angie Balata is the Program Manager at Inspirit Foundation. She has spent the majority of her career working internationally for non-profits in human rights, education, and the creative industries.  Before joining the Inspirit Foundation, her previous roles focused on developing opportunities for education, inclusion, and employment for youth from minority communities and politically complex environments.

She has a passion for projects that lie at the intersections of social justice, arts, and technology, with expertise in community development, building engaged and diverse audiences, program design, and public advocacy.  Angie is an avid traveler with a particular interest in local narratives, street art, and music history. In addition to her curious enjoyment of Algebra, she actively pursues a weekly quota of learning random facts.
