No Más II

No Más II is a 16-day educational tour between November 24 and December 10, 2017, and will feature two representatives from the South Sudan Council of Churches (SSCC) National Women’s Programme (NWP), a KAIROS funded partner.  The delegates include Agnes Wasuk Petia,  and Awak Deng.

The tour coincides with the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence which begins on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, and end on December 10, International Human Rights Day. It will highlight the women, peace and security work of the KAIROS Women of Courage Program.

This tour has been organized in collaboration and with the generous support of Development and Peace. Visit their May Peace Be With Her campaign.

  • Thunder Bay and Northwest Ontario (Nov 28-Dec 1)
  • Southern Saskatchewan (Dec. 2-3)
  • Greater Montreal (Dec. 4-6)
  • Ottawa (Dec. 7-10).

Our South Sudanese guests will speak at public events, churches, with South Sudanese-Canadian diaspora groups and Indigenous communities, MPs and government, and to civil society partners including from the Women, Peace and Security Network – Canada.
