Inspirit Foundation’s 2023 Annual Report is now out! Read about the Foundation’s funding, investments, programming, and more.
Significant events from 2023 include:
- Inspirit updated its mission for the first time since inception
- Mitchell Anderson completed his service as a board member; Mitchell was Inspirit’s first Indigenous Board Chair and the longest-serving board member in the Foundation’s history
- Two Co-Chairs were elected: Deborah Irvine and James Chan
- Inspirit launched Funding Journalism, a bilingual series of publications designed to demystify journalism philanthropy in Canada
- Three new members joined the Board of Directors: Sagal Dualeh, Layla Saad, and Julien Valmary
