Director of Finance and Impact Investment to Transition from Foundation, Launches New Venture
TORONTO, April 15, 2026 — Inspirit Foundation announces that its Director of Finance and Impact Investment is transitioning to a new role.
Jory Cohen will leave the Foundation on April 30 but will continue to support Inspirit in an advisory capacity through his new impact investing consultancy: Silk Pin Capital. Inspirit will continue to work closely with Jory on its impact investing mandate.
Jory has led the Foundation’s work on impact investing since Inspirit made a commitment to 100 per cent impact a decade ago. He has played a pivotal role in advancing the Foundation’s mission through his leadership, dedication, and expertise.
“It’s a bittersweet moment; while we will not be working with Jory day-to-day, we will still benefit from his skill and commitment as the Foundation continues its work in impact investing. We wish Jory every success in his new endeavor and look forward to working with him in his new capacity,” says Sadia Zaman, CEO of Inspirit Foundation.
Jory’s vision has been instrumental in driving the Foundation’s growth in its transition to a 100 per cent impact portfolio—the first-of-its-kind in Canada. His work has helped position Inspirit as a leader in social finance, and inspired both the Board and staff, as well as the broader impact investing sector.
Inspirit thanks Jory for his invaluable contributions and wishes him continued success as a champion of impact investing.
