La Converse is a digital media outlet serving underrepresented communities in Québec. Launched as a month-long pop-up newsletter to fill an urgent need for reporting during the COVID-19 pandemic, it quickly engaged audiences and had made measurable impact across underserved communities.

Canadian Journalists of Colour

Canadian Journalists of Colour is a community of Indigenous, Black and People of Colour media workers across Canada. CJOC offers a supportive environment for journalists of colour to engage and discuss the journalism industry. This grant supported an Anti-Black Racism in Journalism webinar.

Indigenous Communication Arts at First Nations University

The Indigenous Communication Arts (INCA) program at First Nations University is a unique program in Canada that provides journalism and communications education that is immersed in an Indigenous worldview and delivered within an Indigenous-led institution.
