Creatives Empowered

Creatives Empowered is a non-profit collective of artists and creatives. They are Black, Indigenous and People of Colour, empowering each other as an allied community. Members are film and tv, media and arts professionals–from emerging to established–based in western Canada.

Mosquers

The Mosquers was started in 2006 as a short-film festival to provide a platform for local films by Muslim filmmakers in Edmonton. It has emerged as a key organization in Canada’s Muslim creative sector over the past decade. This grant supported the 2024 Opening Credits event.

Creatives Empowered

Creatives Empowered is a non-profit collective of emerging to established artists and creatives empowering each other as an allied community. Established in 2020, they are the first organization of its kind in Alberta. This grant supports the IBPOC Leadership Program for Alberta-based creatives.
