Inspirit grantee La Converse, a Quebec-based digital news platform, has made it to the latest cohort of the Indie News Challenge (INC).
La Converse is a local journalism project led by journalist Lela Savic in Montreal. Launched during the pandemic to cover stories of underserved communities, the pop-up newsletter will now expand to a fully operational, bilingual, digital news website. Inspirit’s grant will fund this transition.
