Sanaa on #Canada150

With the peak of Canada 150 events behind us, we need to continue asking what voices we’re listening to as we build a more equitable future. In the second instalment of our #Canada150 series we spoke to Sanaa, a Muslim change leader and organizer in Toronto. Sanaa touched on what she saw was missing from the Canada 150 conversation, particularly the importance of recognizing Indigenous rights, understanding our history, and addressing Islamophobia. She tells us about a moment of solidarity that has inspired her, and how listening will be a key part to building an inclusive society.
